Things to Keep

I have a dream to be a museum curator. Until I can realise that dream, I'm going to create my own virtual museum with artefacts and objects from institutions around the world.

Each month there will be a new exhibition, themed around different periods, styles, societies, cultures or events that interest me.

The inside cover of the book is inscribed, “Presented to Mary Elizabeth Roberts (Old Patch) by the Welsh [T? J? L?] C. Sunday School of Excelsior, Iowa Christmas Eve, 1886.”

The page also bears a pre-printed label reading, “This Book presented by” and the name written in is “Mrs. Jay Reed.”

1880-1889 ca.
