Things to Keep

I have a dream to be a museum curator. Until I can realise that dream, I'm going to create my own virtual museum with artefacts and objects from institutions around the world.


Each month there will be a new exhibition, themed around different periods, styles, societies, cultures or events that interest me.

  • Appalachia - July ‘11 The inside cover of the book is inscribed, “Presented to Mary Elizabeth Roberts (Old Patch) by the Welsh [T? J? L?] C. Sunday School of Excelsior, Iowa Christmas Eve, 1886.” The page also bears a pre-printed label reading, “This Book presented by” and the name written in is “Mrs. Jay Reed.” 1880-1889 ca.
